Having a Doctor , , , , means you will see his office more than . . . .

Than you are hoping too! We found a doctor in July and it seems like we are there every other week. Tara, came up to me and said "Mom, I don't want to tell you this." I asked her what and than she showed me her ear, well behind it. It looked so bad! Here she is . . . Guess where ? , , , , , , ,, Yep, the doctor's office.

Here's what the back of her neck looked like when we went to the doctor. It's a form of ring worm. You get it how I asked! From dirt or another kid. Well, we know it wasn't another kid. Well, she does do the compost. We think that's where. Well, she's out of her chore to do. She feels so bad about losing one too! LOL

Mom and Autumne had to take time for a sillyness break time!

Tara now has to take antibiotics for 6 weeks. Autmne said that having to take medicine isn't as bad as having to wear a hot cast.

Funny, story about Autumne and her amazing fashion to be helpful. I needed to take care of Jazz and Jerry was making dinner, so Autumne asked if she could help. I was thrilled. Jazz was doing the FREAK OUT and it wasn't pretty, so I told her to get her meds ready than I can help. Well, Autumne gets the ice cream. The Doctor had one important note about the med. Make sure she gets a 1/2 cup of ice cream after she takes the med. Autumne gives Tara her bowl of ice cream and Tara, who loves anything sweet. Kept making this really bad face. I asked what was wrong and she kept telling me that she wasn't really liking it. Seemed weird, she didn't like Chocolate, since when. Well, she tells me mom I can't eat anymore ice cream. So I give it to Jerry. Jerry takes one bite and Said." OMG! that is awful!" What's wrong with it? Autumne tells us she put the medicine in the ice cream. Tara almost ate the whole thing, she did the best she could. Now we have it figured out, NO medicine ice cream!!!!

Autumne and I ready for our class

Autumne and I are wearing gauchos I made for us. We have started taking a belly dancing class. My friend told us about a free class in Davidson. It's so great! We are having so much FUN!! We ride our bikes up there and ride home.

It's such a joy to take a class with her. I need Autumne to help me get it right. My brain can only retain so much info.

Morning Spirituality

We have started a morning ritual of meditation and prayer. Waldorf inspired and Benedict Monks inspired. We take a few minutes each day. About 10 to 15 and that starts our day. We say a quote do a meditation for about 3 minutes and than we think about sending love to one another, our community and the world. It's very simple, but very grounding for the start of the morning.

We feel that spirituality is a gift that we want to share with our children. It's such a joy to see them create their own sense of what is spirituality. They each have different ways of expressing their spirituality. It's so beautiful to see how they are transformed by the simple beautiful of what is before them.

How to fix a mistake and make 2 items instead of one!!!

I made this skirt and just loved it, it only had one problem I needed to lose about 10 lbs. to be able to where it. I stewed over it and stewed over it. Trying to figure out what to do! I thought I could sell it. But I just loved it. I could make it a top for myself. Well, I still have to lose about 4 inches across my chest. Didn't want to that either. Than I had a break-through!

I'll will make a skirt for Tara. It looked so sweet. The bottom was used for this part.

I made a back pack to use with my bike. It works perfectly. I used the top part!

Our Kitchen Sink

Can you see some thing's wrong with this picture! Me TOO! If I was looking in at all these events, I may find them a bit amusing, but since I am the one that's having the FUN, not so much!!
OK! Now this is getting really not FUNNY! I posted about our washer going well, as soon as that happened our faucet ran into some problems. I may have to rename it and call it a shower!

MOEN is just an amazing company. We talked and talked to many different people and they were amazingly helpful. They send us 5 new kits to fix the faucet, free of charge! Wow! I am so so impressed! This tiny little piece was a total pain to get out! But, yea we were successful!

Jerry gets this far! YEA, could we be having water soon! I won't know what to do with myself. Jerry has fixed our sink , , , , , YEA YEA YEA! I knew he could do it!

Well, maybe not! Back to the drawing board! YEA YEA YEA!! the neighbor is going to come over and help! YEA YEA YEA! What will I do with myself a working sink! This weekend a new washer! Wow! I'm doing the happy dance, I'm doing the happy dance!!
