Bugs Bugs What are you . .. . . . .
Well, this year has had it's buggy days and one of those bugs are these mysterious dull grey colored bugs. They love the gourd area, it's their favorite place to hang. We have tons of them!!! Can y'all tell me what we have a brewing?!

Those are squash bugs. They are very harmful to most vines including (ofcourse) gourds! But you are doing the right thing by going ahead & picking your gourds before their nutrients are sucked dry! Good job! I love you & I miss you! We promise to visit soon!!! :)
Oh no, they are squash bugs! They love the squash family. We call them squash bugs here (after Erin filled us in) but because we do squash them. :)
