Our Mother Plant

This is the story of my Mother Plant. Two years ago we took a walk for Mother's day and came across this beautiful Thistle. Last year it had 5 buds. Each one represented one of my kids. It was the perfect mother's day gift. Each year it blooms Mother's Day week and the flowers smell so wonderful until they die and the smell goes away.

Here she is with her first bloom.

This is the first of April no buds, but plenty of shoots.

Here she is blooming over and over again.

Mom's day continued

My gifts from the kids. Autumne got me a frog pen and the kids got me some stones. I made a rock garden. I look so much like my dad in his picture. Life is a circle.
The girls and I sharing a morning chat with mom's day!

Happenings of Mother's Day

As I slept on Mom's Day morning Autumne, Jazzy Jerry and Tara made me breakfast. Here is Autumne and Jazzy marking Chocolate cover strawberries.

Washed and air drying as they get ready for the BEST part . . . . the chocolate!
The first course. A glass of juice and grapefruit bowl filled with all kinds of berries. and some flowers from our wild flower and herb garden.

Park day

A day at the park. Autumne and her little brother Jazper.

Jazper playing on the big slide.
Jazzy and his best friend Nova. Been buds almost since they were born. They are 2 days apart. Jazzy born 1/22 and Nova born 1/20.
